Anybody slagging off my match thread, would be propping up a motorway somewhere, especially as I've gone upmarket and moved from pie and mash to avocado.

It's great you're doing this item, but I think we need to put it in the hands of someone with a bit more "gumption".

Match reports, injury news etc - you're the man. But taking the piss out of the opposing fans (which to me is equally as important as the fucking result), and you're lost.

Really and truly, no offence meant, but if we're going to have a "View from the Opposition" thread, then we need to base it around friction, piss-take, tribalism and, dare I say it, banter?

So, up your fucking game or off-load it. And yes, I would be prepared to take it on.
